Reger is the moniker of Belfast-based Robbie McCammon. A DJ/Producer who has made his mark at numerous events like AVA FESTIVAL, Boiler Room, ALL TOGETHER NOW, Ulster Sports Club, Banana Block and prestigious radio stations such as NTS RADIO, BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio Ulster.

Reger's production skills have been widely recognized, earning him accolades from influential artists such as Special Request, Ben UFO, fabric’s Hutch and Jaguar from BBC Radio 1. In 2020, he was a winner of Special Request's Dubplate contest, which earned him a special-cut vinyl from the legendary producer and DJ. The two artists even played together at the JikaJika! Festival in Derry in 2021.

Inspired by some of the best selectors in the industry, including Gilles Peterson, Ben UFO, Call Super, Mr Scruff and Batu, Reger is known for his unique and intricate DJ sets that showcase a wide range of musical flavours and mind-bending selections.

His contribution to the Irish music scene has been substantial, starting with his appearance on BBC Introducing's 'Beat Seekers' series in 2020 and continuing with his fourth mixtape for the station, which showcased the diverse talent on the island of Ireland.

In September 2021, Reger made his AVA Festival debut, performing a 2-hour set on The Baltic stage that showcased his eclectic tastes and drew praise from the audience. He has also contributed original works and remixes to the cutting-edge Belfast imprint, Extended Play, and remixed local legend Carlton Doom on the renowned Hypercolour label.

June 2023 saw Reger's Boiler Room debut at AVA Festival which resulted in a highly-memorable occasion. From custom-made scarves, supplied by local food outlet, Wing It, to the iconic closing 'Bamboleo' moment...a truly authentic moment for the then-21-year-old.

Reger's start to the 2024 calendar was commendable after joining forces with London crew, Night Tube and welcoming Call Super to the intimate quarters of Ulster Sports Club.

In August of 2024, Reger was invited by AVA to play their IMMERSE stage at the 'Irish Glasto' better known as All Together Now festival in Ireland. Opening the stage for the weekend, Reger performed a skillfully crafted set before handing over to personal hero, Ben UFO, only months after the lauded selector had played an unreleased production by the youngster's partner-in-crime, Matheson.

At just 23-years-old, Reger has a promising future ahead of him. Keep an eye out for this rising star in 2025.

RESIDENT ADVISOR

"On the second sun-soaked day, Reger, a DJ who one excitable punter likened to "a young, Irish Ben UFO," was first up. Judging by the 21-year-old's slim build and specs, this comparison presumably had as much to do with his physical attributes as it did his tune selection and flair for digging. Surrounded by a sizeable contingent of friends and contemporaries, all kitted out with custom Boiler Room scarves emblazoned with his name, Reger cultivated an exquisite house party vibe. By the time the unmistakable sounds of "Bamboléo" by the Gipsy Kings played out as his final track, the crowd were already chanting "REGER! REGER!" in unison."

DJ MAG

"Making his Boiler Room debut, Reger saunters through cuts from Julio Bashmore, Levon Vincent, and Pangaea, before bringing it home with Gipsy Kings’ unmistakeable rumba classic ‘Bamboleo’, which translates aptly to “wobble” or “sway.” By 3pm, the site is teeming with crocheted co-ords and utility vests (thanks Fred again..) once more, with their owners freshly preened for an afternoon of “Yeeeooo”-worthy techno."
